Project Description
The Ashtha Paribarik Shastha Clinic, operated by the Teesta Social Welfare Foundation (TSWF), is a non-profit community health clinic located in Pallabi, Mirpur, Dhaka. Established in May 2025, the clinic serves low and middle-income families residing in Mirpur and nearby urban areas.
TSWF, a registered non-profit organization (Registration No. S-14224/2025), is dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged communities through initiatives in health, education, and livelihood development. As part of its community health program, the foundation established the Ashtha Paribarik Shastha Clinic to provide affordable and accessible primary healthcare services to urban poor families.
The clinic plays a vital role in bridging the healthcare accessibility gap faced by marginalized and working-class communities in densely populated areas. Despite limited resources, TSWF has been operating and sustaining the clinic entirely through its own internal funding, demonstrating a strong commitment to community well-being, public health, and social equity.
